Beautiful images. I can almost smell the forest and feel the cold mountain air. Although these mountains are lower, these images remind me of scenes I saw in the Carpathians when I lived in Romania. I look forward to seeing more from you!
Beautiful images. What are the temperatures like? I am interested to know how the dog herding the sheep felt about you being near his herd. Our experience has been that the sheep dog is never amused with by-standers.
It was cold while we were there in mid-November. The daytime temperatures were in the mid-30s with cold rain. During the winter they get enough snow to open a ski hill in the village of Boge. I don’t think there was a sheep dog present with that flock, just an aging shepherd with an umbrella.
I think I mistook the black goat or small sheep in the photo for a dog! 🙂
It was a goat!
